My husband is a work at home dad. I always ask him to go out with his friends sometimes and have a “me” time, but he usually answers me with “I have things to do”, “I need to finish these”, “I don’t like to go out, because I don’t know how to commute” etc. etc.
He never runs out of excuses.
But it’s a good thing also because I don’t need to worry that my husband will go home late at night or if he has another woman.
And because I am also a stay at home mom, some people assume that our life is perfect and boring at the same time. But the truth is we also encounter problems in our married life. We are still two different people, raised by our parents in different ways and have different kinds of lifestyle. Our difference usually come out when we try to discipline our son.
Yet, we are the same in a lot of things as well, like the types of movies to watch.
So last Sunday, I decided to treat him to Festival Supermall to watch The Guardians of Galaxy. I know he likes this movie more than I do because he loves to read comics when he was a child. (I even see him read some every now and then)
He was very happy that day that he surprised me with a note in my notebook.
I missed getting notes from him, and that what makes me love him when we are still dating. I love surprises, and Noel’s style is very unique and nakakakilig.
Two days ago when I woke up, he said “… don’t forget the usb with the invitations to be printed…” and attached to the usb, I saw a piece of paper with a note:
at first I didn’t get it… “number of dots?” there are only 11 dots here… but when I turned it around, I saw this:
