I did not had the chance to watch the Pacquiao-Marquez fight yesterday because we went to the mall to stroll. Everyone’s talking that Manny was knocked down by Marquez and can’t get up at once, I can’t believe hearing this. That’s why when we arrived home, I immediately looked for the replays on Facebook and YouTube, and to my surprise, they were absolutely right.
While watching the replay, it broke my heart when I saw Jinkee Pacquiao crying while her husband was on the floor motionless. I can’t imagine myself on her shoes. She can’t go on the ring to check Manny right away, and what she can only do that time was cry and pray.
I have read a lot of reactions after the fight, and here were some of it:
- How many Mexicans can take down Pacquiao. Just JUAN. How many Mexicans had fallen through the hands of Pacquiao. MANNY.
- In victory as in defeat, Manny displays tremendous grace. That for me is the character of a true champion.
- “You have been HERO to us, We are still PROUD of you, We love you Manny Pacquiao
@piamagalona It was so heartwarming to see Manny smiling as he was being intvwd post fight. Very gracious of him! <3 @VickiBelo Everyone is in shock about what happened to manny. It was so scary to see him lying there unconscious for such a long time @Karen_DaviLa In a past intrvw, Marquez said that judges “can’t seem to get over Manny‘s superstardom, unless he knocks him down”. @Jimparedes Manny, you are still great. You’ve giftedyour country a lot of honor and prestige. We wil not forget that. @carloople It’s frustrating how networks are sensationalizing and playing up the religion angle for Pacman. That interview was just crazy. @Mam_Charo Manny Pacquiao’s faith is being tested…bigtime! @RealDonitaRose on whether or not he wins or looses, is famous and wealthy or not. Even if Manny lost every other succeeding fight, in the end, he has God. @bossagurl Manny Pacquiao. One man, eight world titles. Still and always will be the People’s Champ. @juLiusbabao Ganito rin ang pakiramdan ko nang bugbugin ni Bayne si Batman. Dapat ang next ep : Pacman Rises ! @candypangilinan God has great plans for all. True, we may not understand them now. Evntually it will be revealed, in His perfect time. Hope Manny is ok. @VPJojoBinay Manny trained hard and he fought hard in the ring. I am sure he will rise from this adversity a better and stronger person. @QuickOffTheMarc Manny fought like a 8x world champion, but more importantly he graciously accepted defeat like the true sportsman that he is @CamillePrats That was just unbelievable. Manny you’re still our champion. You’ve got nothing to prove anymore. You’ve brought boxing to where it is now.
@chris_tiu Stunned!! Sad!! But just glad Manny is okay. Such a great sport! “Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose! @kuyakim_atienza Nothing happens by accident. God has plans unknown to us. We shall know in time. mabuhay ka manny, you are my champ forever. @minavillarroel Sakit sa puso. Can’t watch boxing talaga. I get nervous. Ouch! Hope you’re okay Manny. @JURISfernandez we love you and we are proud of you Manny! @ImKrisLawrence Daaaaaaamn…..that hurt to see manny go down like that @marieltpadilla Oh my god!!!!!!!!!! Tulog si manny!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god!!!!!!!!!! @ilovegeorgina It was such a good fight and manny was fighting so well. I’m so shocked☹ my stomach is churning I feel nauseous☹ poor manny☹☹
