The generation we live in today has it easy when it comes to connecting to people. The various social networking sites and communications technology makes it easier for us to reach friends family and relatives in different parts of the world. You can even re-connect with your long lost friends and relatives using this technology.
A good friend from high school who is a bit anti-social has the habit of losing touch with our circle of friends from time to time especially if she gets too engrossed with a new job or a new hobby. Back in college, it was difficult to get a hold of her whenever she has one of her disappearing acts. In fact we lost touch for 5 years from our college senior year and we only got re-connected when I unexpectedly bumped into her in a mall. Nowadays, we don’t have to wait for five years before getting in touch with our friends or place TV and radio ads to find long lost friends. There are modern technology and applications that we can use to help us keep the bonds of friendship.
People may move around a lot but you can count on their online presence to be more constant. Social networking sites like facebook and twitter keeps us updated and connected with our circle of friends in every part of the world. Those who lost touch may be found using sites like google, yahoo, mylife.com or friend finder. These are quick and easy ways that will help you revive and re-establish relationships is a few short strokes of the keyboard. If only this technology has been available to us a few years earlier then we would’ve lost contact with our dear anti-social friend for too long.
