Malacanang Palace declared today (October 10, 2011) that October 31 (Monday) will be a special non working holiday via Proclamation No. 265 It is because October 31 is between Sunday and November 1 (All Saints Day) which falls on Tuesday and because of that a lot of people will go home to observe and visit their dearly departed loved ones on All Saints Day.
