I have lots of relatives abroad. In our province in Tarlac, most people there don't go to Manila anymore to look for a job just like old days, now they apply for work at other countries. When should we trust another person?

When we were young, we were taught by our parents not to talk to strangers and not to accept any candy or whatever food from someone we don't know since these strangers might hurt us and this is when I started doubting other people's motives.
