Career and Family Life for work at home moms

by Levy on March 1, 2012

I put my career at bay to become a full time wife and mother but it doesn’t mean that I’ll put my skills and talent to rest as well. We all have to grow and keep up with trends and development so we can have something to teach our kids as they grow old. This is why I chose to be a work at home mom where I can watch over my children and have a career without too much pressure.

Being a work at home mom is one of the best careers any mother can have. Aside from being able to ensure that your kids get all the love and attention that they need, you also get to fulfill your career needs. It may take you twice as long to achieve your desired career goal or it might take you down to another career path but you still get to hone your skills and develop your talents to be the best that you can be.

In my case, I found a new career in writing and managing my blogs. What started out as a tool to express myself and share my experiences with others turned out to be a full time job with perks that are really great.

One of the benefits of being a work at home is having a flexible schedule that allows you to relax and unwind anytime you want. There are times when I feel pressured with deadlines and the volume of articles that need to be written. Other times I have a lot of free time on my hand that I turn to online games like Gala Bingo, Paddy Power, Mecca Bingo, Poker, and the whole caboodle of online games that range from no-brainers to mind boggling puzzles and mysteries.

The best part of my job is being able to be with my family anytime they need me. I look after my child and care for my husband’s need when they’re at home and tend to my own career goals when they’re in school or at work.

what I like most to be with my family is that I can take pictures of my cute little man. This is priceless!

It’s like having a bit of both worlds right in my own home. Now ain’t that the best arrangement?

yay for WAHMs! although on my part it’s really hard to keep from working and working and working (since we don’t keep a schedule). but it’s very rewarding nonetheless :)

I love to play online games when my son is asleep too. I consider this activity as my “me” time.

being a stay at home mom does not mean you are sleeping the whole day or not doing anythings. Sometimes the work load are even harder compared to the work at home mommies who stayed in the office. A sleep sometimes is a luxury for SAHM. Kudos to you!
