I don’t like falling in line to pay for our bills especially when I am with my son since he gets cranky when waiting in  a long line.  I hate it when I forget to pay for my credit card bills on it’s due date and because of that I will be charged for a late payment fee.  Since I am always online, I prefer online transactions too, that is why getting an EON card from Unionbank made life easier for me.

Now, I can transfer funds from my Eon Card to my husband Unionbank account (vice versa) and all it takes is a click online.  That’s not all, I can also transfer funds from my Eon Card to any other bank account here in the Philippines (that’s awesome right?)

since I promote green living, transaction online means less paper, happier Planet

Good bye to the long queues to pay for our water, electric and phone bills since I can do it all now in front of my computer.

Banking online is available 24/7, so I will no longer have to worry if I miss the bank’s closing time.

How did I get my Unionbank EON Card?

I went to the nearest Unionbank in our place, I signed up a form, brought 2 valid IDs (check out the list of required ID’s here), then I just waited for a week for the card and then I payed for the first annual fee amounting to P350.00

You can also apply online and it is more faster than what I have done but there are only a few selected branches where you can pick up the card (you can check it out here)

The downside that I see in being more online is that my stomach will get bigger for sitting down long.
