I tried to go back to the gym last year but it only lasted for 2 weeks since I got bored easily. The gym near us have lots of equipments that we can use but after a few sessions, I just ended up getting a body ache, so I stopped.
Since one of my new year’s resolutions is to be fit and healthy, I know I can’t make it possible if I will just sit in front of the computer the whole day. I am glad I found out about Zumba. I really sweat a lot for just 30 minutes of doing it.
I searched for Gym’s nearby that offered Zumba, but I can’t find one, so I just asked my hubby to get me a copy of the home videos.
It’s been two weeks now since I started doing Zumba seriously and I am really enjoying this dance craze. I usually wake up early, finish some household chores, prepare breakfast and then play the videos while I follow the simple steps.
Before, I can’t even last 15 minutes without taking a water break but now, I can do it 30 minutes straight and I can finish 1 hour of this video.
My favorite steps are the Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, and belly dancing. I don’t like the steps of Cumbia that much.
I think I am addicted to Zumba now because I feel that my day is incomplete if I will not do this. My motivation is not only to be healthy, but also to have a lean body that can fit to a medium size clothes (I wore Large to XL now).
